Are Taurus 605 revolvers any good?

Fit and finish are decent. At around $380 with 16 variants available, they're a popular budget-friendly choice for concealed carry.
What are common problems with the Taurus 605?
User reports cite point-of-impact accuracy issues with fixed sights, inconsistent trigger pull, and quality control problems. Some owners report reliability issues, and the heavy recoil can be difficult to manage for shooters with smaller hands. Experiences vary, so reading multiple owner reviews is advisable before purchasing.
Which Taurus revolver is the best?
"Best" depends on your needs. The 605 suits concealed carry at around $380. The 66 works well for target shooting. The 627 Tracker handles magnum loads effectively. The Judge fires both .45 Colt and .410 shotshell. Match the revolver to your intended use and budget.
How many rounds does a Taurus 605 hold?
The Taurus 605 holds 5 rounds. It is a compact .357 Magnum/.38 Special +P revolver with a 2-inch barrel, designed for concealed carry.
How much is the Taurus Defender?

Can a Taurus 605 shoot 357 Magnum?
Yes, the Taurus 605 is chambered in .357 Magnum and also accepts .38 Special and .38 Special +P rounds. As a compact 5-shot revolver, it handles full-power .357 Magnum loads, though recoil is significant given its small frame and light weight.
