Česká zbrojovka traces its roots to Jihočeská zbrojovka (Strakonice, 1919), and its Uherský Brod plant opened in 1936. CZ-USA was founded in 1997 (in Kansas City, KS since 1998), and the parent Colt CZ Group bought Colt in 2021.

- Reworked trigger group with fewer parts, used on the P-07 and the 75 B Omega (2009–2015).
