These terms apply to GunsNPrices.com ("GunsNPrices", "we", "us"), to the GunsNPrices browser extension and to the GunsNPrices app for iPhone. By using GunsNPrices you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. What GunsNPrices is
GunsNPrices is a price comparison and information service for firearms, ammunition and related products sold by US online retailers. We collect prices automatically from retailers' websites and product feeds. We don't sell any products, we are not a party to your purchase, and we don't take payments. When you follow a link to a store, you buy from that store under its own terms.
2. Who can use GunsNPrices
You must be at least 18 years old to use GunsNPrices. Buying firearms and ammunition is subject to age limits and other restrictions under federal, state and local law, and meeting them is your responsibility.
3. Prices, stock and product information
- Prices, stock status, specifications and images come from retailers and are refreshed about once a day. They can be out of date or wrong, and a product can occasionally be matched to the wrong offer.
- The price, availability, shipping cost and taxes shown on the retailer's website at checkout are the ones that count. Always check them before you buy.
- If you spot an error, tell us at info@gunsnprices.com and we'll correct it.
4. Deals
Deal labels, percentages and the reasons shown on deal cards are calculated automatically from the prices we collect (see how we pick deals). They describe price changes; they are not a guarantee of the lowest price or a recommendation of any product or store, and a deal can end at any time.
5. Affiliate links
Many links to stores are affiliate links: we may earn a commission when you buy, at no extra cost to you. Stores we work with may be listed above other stores in price tables.
6. Buying firearms lawfully
You are responsible for complying with every law that applies to you. In the US, a firearm bought online ships to a licensed FFL dealer, who completes the transfer and the background check, and some products can't be sold or shipped to certain states or cities. Retailers decide what they can sell to you. Nothing on GunsNPrices is legal advice. Don't use GunsNPrices for any unlawful purpose.
7. Reviews and other content you send us
If you post a review or send us content, you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, edit and publish it in connection with GunsNPrices. We may remove any content at our discretion.
You agree not to post illegal, threatening, defamatory, obscene or misleading content, impersonate anyone, post spam or advertising, infringe anyone's rights, upload malicious code, or try to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
8. Use of our website and data
You may use GunsNPrices for your own, non-commercial shopping and research. Don't copy, scrape or republish our content or price data in bulk, or access the site with automated tools beyond normal browsing, without our written permission. Data that we publish separately under an open license is covered by that license.
9. Browser extensions and iPhone app
Our browser extension, available for Firefox on Mozilla Add-ons, and our app for iPhone, available on the App Store, are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell them. The terms of the store you get them from (for example Mozilla Add-ons or the Apple App Store) also apply. We may update, change or discontinue them at any time.
10. Intellectual property
The GunsNPrices name, logo, design and our own content belong to us. Product names, brand names, logos and images belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the products.
11. Third-party websites
We are not responsible for the websites, products, prices, shipping, returns or policies of retailers or other third parties. Any dispute about a purchase is between you and the retailer.
12. Disclaimer
GunsNPrices is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of GunsNPrices or from any purchase you make from a retailer, even if we have been told such damages are possible.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold GunsNPrices harmless from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from your use of GunsNPrices or your breach of these terms.
15. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on GunsNPrices infringes your copyright, email info@gunsnprices.com with: the copyrighted work; the material you believe infringes it and where it appears; your contact details (address, phone and email); a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate; and your physical or electronic signature.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If you keep using GunsNPrices after a change, you accept the updated terms.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas. Any dispute arising under them will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Harris County, Texas.
18. Severability
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
