Frequently Asked Questions
Sig Sauer Legion for sale
What is so special about SIG Legion?
SIG Legion pistols feature enhanced ergonomics, forward cocking serrations, and refined triggers optimized for performance and competition use. Built on proven SIG platforms, they are available in multiple calibers and frame sizes. Priced around $1,300, they include a premium case, challenge coin, and access to the Legion customer service team.
Which SIG Sauer Legion is best?
Best depends on your needs. The P226 Legion suits traditional double-action shooters; the P320 X-Five Legion offers modularity; the P229 Legion works for concealed carry; the P365-AXG Legion brings an aluminum-alloy frame and G10 grips to a compact platform; the P320 AXG Legion rounds out the lineup. Test-fire each to find your preference.
What is the difference between the P226 and the P226 Legion?
The P226 Legion upgrades the standard P226 with a refined trigger, enhanced X-Ray sights, aggressive grip checkering, and G10 grips. Both share the same full-size frame. Legion models typically cost around $1,300 versus less for standard variants, making the Legion suited for those prioritizing ergonomics and fit-and-finish.
What are common P226 Legion problems?
P226 Legion owners report recurring problems including light primer strikes, failure to extract, double feeds, and jamming. PVD finish rusting is also a known issue. These problems appear widespread and are not simply resolved by switching ammo brands. The platform has a notably inconsistent reliability reputation among users.
What is the price of the Sig P226 Legion?
Sig Sauer P226 Legion pistols average around $1,525 new and $1,028 used, with retail listings typically near $1,191. Available calibers include 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG.
What is the price of the Sig P320 Legion?
Sig Sauer P320 Legion models typically cost around $1,299.99, with most listings ranging from $799.99 to $1,699.99. Prices vary by variant—the P320 X-Five Legion commands higher prices than standard configurations.
Is the Sig P320 X5 Legion a good gun?
Whether it's "good" depends on your use case. Shooters praise its reliability, trigger quality, and ergonomics for competition and range work. It's heavy at 43.5 oz due to its tungsten-infused frame, making it better suited as a range or competition gun than a carry pistol. Typically priced around $1,300.
What is the difference between the P320 and P320 Legion?
The P320 Legion features a tungsten-infused grip module for added weight and reduced recoil, a flat-faced trigger, and upgraded sights. Standard P320 models lack these enhancements and are generally less expensive. Our marketplace carries both variants at competitive prices.
