Frequently Asked Questions
Sig Sauer pistols for sale
Is the SIG Sauer P320 a good gun?
Whether the P320 is "good" depends on your needs. It's a reliable, accurate striker-fired pistol adopted by the U.S. military and many police departments. Users report strong performance across varied conditions. It's available in numerous configurations, typically priced around $500–$900 depending on the variant.
Is the SIG P365 X macro worth it?
Worth depends on your priorities. The X-Macro holds 17 rounds in a compact frame, useful if you want higher capacity without a full-size pistol. It retails around $600-700 street price. Some find it harder to conceal than the standard P365 despite its thin profile. Compare against the P365 or XL before deciding.
What is the difference between P365 and P365X macro?
The P365 is a subcompact 9mm optimized for deep concealment with a 10-round capacity. The P365X-Macro is larger, offering greater capacity and a longer slide and grip for improved control. The X-Macro trades some concealability for shootability. Sig's lineup also includes the P365X and P365XL as distinct variants.
How much is a Sig Sauer P365 worth today?
Sig Sauer P365 pistols carry an MSRP of $499–$619. Used examples vary widely by condition, with some standard models selling as low as $175–$350, while higher-condition examples can reach around $515. On our marketplace, listings range from around $36 to $2,540, with most transactions clustering near $500.
What are the common problems with the Sig Sauer P365 X macro?
User reports mention stiff 17-round magazines, occasional auto slide release issues, and barrel coating chipping. Earlier production runs experienced rare firing pin breaks and trigger spring problems, though Sig addressed these. Most X-Macro owners report reliable performance; issues remain uncommon.
How much does a M400 cost?
Sig Sauer M400 rifles typically cost around $901 based on marketplace data. Most listings fall between $36 and $2,540, reflecting different configurations and retailers. The M400 Tread runs closer to $900–$950, while higher-end models exceed $1,500.
Is the SIG Sauer M400 an AR-15?
Yes, the SIG Sauer M400 is an AR-15 platform rifle. It uses a direct impingement operating system and shares the modular design of standard AR-15s. The M400 Tread variant is a popular entry-level option featuring a 16-inch barrel and free-floated rail.
Is the SIGM400 a 556 or 223?
The SIG M400 is chambered in 5.56 NATO, which also safely fires .223 Remington ammunition. A 5.56 NATO chamber has slightly more freebore than a .223 chamber, allowing it to handle the higher pressures of 5.56 NATO rounds.
