What ammo is best for Springfield M1A Socom?
Your M1A SOCOM shoots standard .308 Winchester or 7.62x51 NATO ammunition. Federal Gold Medal 168gr and Hornady Match 168gr deliver solid accuracy. Budget-friendly PPU Match also performs reliably. Use quality factory loads meeting SAAMI specs and avoid steel-cased ammo.
What are the common upgrades for an M1A SOCOM 16?
Common upgrades include optics mounts and scopes, tactical slings, bipods, magazine accessories, suppressors via threaded muzzle adapters, and modern chassis systems for improved ergonomics. Trigger jobs and Sadlak-style scope mounts are also popular, as is glass bedding the stock for better accuracy.
Where is the M1A SOCOM 16 manufactured?
