Frequently Asked Questions
Springfield 911 for sale
How much does a Springfield 911 cost?
Springfield 911 pistols typically cost around $529, with most listings ranging $369–$658. Prices vary by caliber (.380 ACP or 9mm), finish, and retailer. MSRP ranges from $549.99–$729.00 for .380 ACP models and $1,023–$1,688 for 9mm models.
Is the Springfield 911 380 a good gun?
Whether it's "good" depends on your needs. Reviewers praise its accuracy, compact size, and 1911-style handling for concealed carry. The .380 ACP offers modest stopping power compared to 9mm. Some find small pistols snappy to shoot. Read reviews matching your intended use before deciding.
Is the Springfield 911 380 discontinued?
Yes, Springfield discontinued all 911 variants as of 2025, including the .380 ACP model. Used and remaining new inventory can still be found through various retailers.
Is the 911 pistol good for concealed carry?
Springfield designed the 911 specifically for concealed carry. Its subcompact frame, single-action trigger, and 6–7 round capacity suit pocket or IWB carry well. Shooters appreciate its compact profile and 1911-style controls. However, small pistols can be snappy to shoot. Consider your grip strength and practice commitment before choosing.
What is the mag capacity of the Springfield 911?
The Springfield 911 ships with both a flush-base 6-round magazine and an extended 7-round magazine. This applies to both the .380 ACP and 9mm variants.
