What are the common problems with the Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus?
User reports mention rare failure-to-cycle issues and occasional primer strikes that don't ignite. Some owners note tight barrel seating in the receiver. Parts availability is limited—barrel replacements run around $1,000. Most users report reliable performance, though individual examples may vary.
How much is the Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus 12-gauge?
Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus 12-gauge shotguns typically run around $1,949 across our marketplace. Most listings fall between $1,746 and $2,149 depending on barrel length, finish, and camo pattern.
How many shells does a Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus hold?

What chokes come with the Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus?
The A400 Xtreme Plus comes with five Optima-Choke HP extended choke tubes: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full.
Is the Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 better than the Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus?
Neither is objectively "better"—it depends on your priorities. The A400 Xtreme Plus offers strong corrosion resistance and gas-operated reliability; the SBE3's inertia system suits those preferring simpler mechanics. Both are capable waterfowl guns. Handling and fit vary by shooter, so test both before deciding.
