This allows the user to load shells into the port without having to take your eyes off of incoming birds, and the two-piece carrier latch actually moves during the loading process with minimal tension to reduce the possibility of jamming. This simple, yet robust system is composed of just 3 main parts - the bolt body, inertia spring, and rotating bolt head - and works by harnessing the inertia of recoil to cycle the next round. The Inertia Driven System prevents residue from entering the action and ensures the gas, smoke, and burnt powder remain in the barrel.
