What caliber does a Mauser C96 shoot?
Mauser C96 pistols are chambered in 7.63x25mm Mauser, also called .30 Mauser. Some variants were made in 9mm Parabellum or .30 Luger. Most C96s used a 10-round magazine, but some variants used a 6-round magazine. We have several C96 variants available in our marketplace.
How many rounds does a C96 hold?
Standard C96 pistols hold 10 rounds in a fixed internal magazine. Some variants had 6-round capacity. Rounds were loaded using stripper clips. Later detachable-magazine versions, such as the M712 Schnellfeuer, could accept 10- or 20-round magazines.
