Following in the footsteps of its auto loading cousin, the Wildcat, the Xpert boasts bold styling and innovative features designed to enhance accuracy and performance, all at a price that leaves you with plenty of cash for ammo. At the heart of the Xpert's design is the new rimfire M.O.A. trigger. Modeled after the trigger found in the Model 70 and XPR rifles, this three-lever design offers zero creep, zero take-up and zero over-travel, resulting in a light pull that breaks like glass. The precision button-rifled barrel with a target crown and semi-match Bentz chamber further enhances accuracy, while the hemispherical firing pin improves reliability with rimfire ammunition. The Xpert comes equipped with an adjustable rear sight and blade front sight and the steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The rifle's controls are designed for ease of use, featuring an extended bolt handle for extra leverage and a safety positioned at the rear of the receiver for easy reach. Dual ambidextrous magazine releases on the sides and bottom of the rifle allow for convenient magazine changes and the Xpert uses the same polymer rotary magazine as the Wildcat. Models chambered in .22LR are also compatible with magazines that fit 10/22 rifles. Weighing in at just over 4-1/2 lb, the Xpert's tough polymer stock makes it easy to carry and aim. The stock's steep grip angle improves finger-to-trigger reach and optional accessories such as a length of pull spacer (adding 3/4 inches) and a clip-on cheek riser (raising the cheek 1/2 inches) allow for customization to suit your needs.
