The Alpine MDT Carbon rifle represents Weathersby's latest advancement in bolt action technology, built on the innovative model 307 platform. Designed to complement the renowned Mark V and Vanguard lineups, the model 307 features a robust 2-lug cylindrical action that seamlessly integrates with a wide array of aftermarket accessories. This versatility extends to stocks, triggers, rails, mounts and magazines, ensuring compatibility with modern shooting preferences. Collaborating with MDT, Weatherby has crafted an ultra-light chassis rifle tailored for both range dominance and field performance. The carbon fiber chassis boasts a foldable buttstock, reducing overall length by over 9 inches when collapsed, an ideal choice for compact storage and portability. The BSF carbon barrel, shorter than traditional offerings, guarantees exceptional accuracy and includes Weathersby's Accubrake DST for precise recoil control. The model 307 action sets a new standard with a tool-less bolt disassembly feature, facilitating easy field stripping for maintenance. Engineered with an M16-style extractor, the bolt ensures reliable extraction and ejection under various conditions. Enhancing usability, the Alpine MDT Carbon includes an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger and a PEAK 44 picatinny rail for seamless optic mounting.
