Federal Ultra Steel shotshells are made for the waterfowl hunter that needs a hard-hitting shell they can rely on. These shotshells combine the advantages of zinc plated steel pellets with FLITECONTROL FLEX wads to produce deadly patterns and excellent results. The FLITECONTROL FLEX wad features rear-deploying petals and side-mounted vents that hold the shot column together longer for denser patterns at further distances for devastating results on waterfowl. Ultra Steel is available with standard payloads as well as "Double Stack" payloads that combine two different sizes of shot: smaller pellets that create full patterns and larger ones that deliver better lethality. Like all Federal Premium ammunition, Ultra Steel also uses reliable primers and clean-burning powders to help reduce residue during high-volume shooting, making cleaning your shotguns easier.
