Taylors and Co 1858 Remington Conversion Features
This Taylors & Co 1858 Remington Conversion is a perfect reproduction from the historic period when popular black powder revolvers were being converted into cartridge revolvers. Although manufactured as a an already converted cartridge revolver now by Uberti, these copies still feature an easy transition from blackpowder to centerfire cartridges on the 38 Special caliber models.
Taylors & Company has reproduced the 1858 Remington Conversion pistol in .38 Special. This all steel revolver with steel back-strap has a 5.5" Octagonal barrel, blued finish, brass trigger-guard, two piece walnut grips, blade style front sight and has a forged frame. Weighing 2.55lbs the cylinder will hold 6 cartridges.
