Like our other youth models, this shotgun is built to the same exacting standards as its larger counterpart. The key difference lies with the buttstock being 1 inches shorter to make a length of pull of 13 inches from the end of the buttstock to the trigger. It shares the same action and quality of materials as our other single shots, including the ambidextrous locking lever setup that blocks hammer contact with the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled, and prevents the action from breaking or closing when the hammer is cocked for an extra layer of safety.The end of the blued steel barrel is threaded for removable chokes to alter the pattern and range of the shotgun so it can used effectively in a wide variety of hunting. It ships with a Modified Choke using Rem-Choke style threads which delivers a versatile shooting pattern for shooting at 25 to 45 yd, ideal for squirrels, rabbits, pigeons, doves, partridges, grouse, pheasant and wild flushing quail at medium range.
