As a result of this the GECO Plus mushrooms with minimum fragmentation and has excellent penetration even in heavy game or if striking bone. The breaking points visible on the jacket control the deformation and ensure the bullets effectiveness. The 7 mm Rem. Mag. was introduced in 1962. It belongs to the family of the so-called magnum cartridges. This calibre is suitable for repeating rifles with standard systems. Until today, hunters have used this calibre in Europe, what is to be attributed to a more extended trajectory and consequently higher velocities as opposed to the 7 x 64.
