The Geissele Freedom Rifle (GFR) 18” Maritime Reconnaissance Rifle is a feature-packed rifle built with the latest weapon technology. This rifle features an 18” 6mm ARC barrel, which is chrome-lined, cold hammer forged, and undergoes extensive testing to ensure accuracy and durability. The GFR also features a Nanoweapon coated 6MM ARC Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (REBCG) with a redesigned bolt to optimize performance with 6mm ARC ammo.

Several key features enhance the rifle’s functionality. The Anti-Strike Super Compact Gas Block protects the rail during drops, and the GFR-E trigger provides a smooth, crisp pull. The upper receiver has a relocated forward assist for easier use with magnified optics, and the MK16 Super Modular Rail offers a secure mounting platform for accessories.

The GFR Maritime Reconnaissance Rifle comes with a HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device, which can be used with a suppressor (sold separately). The lower receiver is precision machined from aluminum and features Geissele’s maritime bolt catch, checkered takedown pins, and an improved magazine well for use with 6mm ARC magazines.

The Super 42 Buffer system and Geissele A17 Reduced Angle Grip contribute to smooth operation and a comfortable grip. The Geissele BF stock offers multiple sling attachment points, a snag-free adjustment lever, and a comfortable cheek weld.
