Frequently Asked Questions
Sig Sauer P320 XFive for sale
What is the P320 xfive?
The SIG Sauer P320 X-Five Legion is a full-size 9mm striker-fired competition pistol released in 2020. It features adjustable fiber-optic sights, an optics cut, skeletonized trigger, and tungsten-infused grip module. Priced around $1,050, it is designed for competition and range use.
What is the difference between P320 X5 and P320 xfive Legion?
X-Five Legion features a tungsten-infused grip module weighing 43 ounces versus 35 ounces on the standard X5, making it shoot flatter. Legion has an improved recoil system, lighter trigger pull, different trigger geometry, and optics plate cut for Romeo 1 Pro. Standard X5 uses a captured recoil spring setup.
Is the SIG P320 X5 Legion a good gun?
Whether it's "good" depends on your use case. Competitors and range shooters praise its reliability, trigger quality, and accuracy. It's heavy at 43.5 ounces, and those with medium to smaller hands may struggle with the ergonomics. Not ideal for carry. Typically costs around $1,050, with reviews consistently rating it 8.5–9 out of 10.
What are common P320 problems?
Reported issues include occasional trigger reset problems and rare feeding failures. The P320 has an ongoing uncommanded discharge problem — not a resolved past concern. Washington State's Criminal Justice Training Commission suspended P320 use due to this issue. Consult professional testing sources for detailed reliability data before purchasing.
What makes a SIG Legion so special?
SIG Legion pistols come factory-tuned with match-grade barrels, short-reset triggers, aggressive grip texturing, low-profile controls, and night sights. They include a steel slide and frame, distinctive finish, and membership perks like a premium case, challenge coin, and exclusive gear access — customizations most shooters would otherwise pay gunsmiths to install.
How much is a P320 Legion?
The SIG Sauer P320 X-Five Legion typically costs around $1,050, with most listings ranging from $1,000 to $1,330 depending on the retailer and variant.
Does the P320 X5 Legion have a safety?
The standard P320 X5 Legion does not come with a manual thumb safety, and SIG states it is not available with one. A separate X5 Legion 5.0 optic-ready variant does include a manual safety. Confirm the exact variant before purchasing any pistol on our marketplace.
What optics fit the SIG P320 X5 Legion?
The X5 Legion accepts SIG Romeo1 Pro and Romeo X Pro optics directly. With adapter plates, it also fits the Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C, Leupold DPP, and EoTech EFLx. Confirm your variant's mounting footprint before purchasing.
