Frequently Asked Questions
Kimber Rifle for sale
Is Kimber a high-end gun?
Kimber occupies the mid-to-premium tier. Prices typically range from around $600 to $1,800 depending on the model. They cost more than budget brands but less than ultra-premium makers like Wilson Combat. Most buyers consider the quality and fit-and-finish reasonable justification for the price.
Which is better, Kimber or sig sauer?
Both excel in different areas. Kimber is known for quality 1911-style pistols with excellent triggers and accuracy. Sig Sauer offers broader variety, superior ergonomics, and modern features across multiple platforms. The better choice depends on your intended use, hand size, and personal preference. Test both before buying.
Who owns Kimber?
Kimber Manufacturing is owned by Leslie Edelman, who also serves as CEO. The company traces its roots to Kimber of Oregon, founded in 1979 by Jack Warne and his son Greg Warne.
What action is a Kimber 1911?
Kimber 1911 pistols use a semi-automatic, single-action trigger with short recoil operation, based on John Browning's original 1911 design.
