Frequently Asked Questions
Kriss Vector .45 ACP for sale
Does KRISS Vector shoot 45 ACP?
Yes, the KRISS Vector is chambered in .45 ACP. The semi-auto CRB Gen II model uses Glock 21 magazines holding 13 rounds, with optional MagEx kits extending capacity to 25 or 30 rounds.
Is a KRISS Vector worth buying?
Worth depends on your priorities. The Vector offers unique ergonomics and low recoil, but its high bore axis requires sight compensation. Current asking prices run around $1,799. Shooters generally praise the trigger; some reliability concerns exist. Best suited for range use if you value recoil management over conventional handling.
What 45 ACP mags fit Kriss Mag Kit?
The KRISS Vector .45 ACP accepts Glock 21 magazines, Gen 3 or newer. The KRISS Mag-Ex Kit 2 adds a baseplate, outer sleeve, and spring to standard Glock 21 mags, extending capacity from 13 to 30 rounds.
Are KRISS Vector mags illegal?
KRISS Vector magazines are federally legal. Most states permit the standard 13-round .45 ACP magazines, but 14 states and the District of Columbia restrict magazines over a certain capacity, including California, New York, and Colorado. Check your state and local laws before purchasing.
What is the capacity of the KRISS Vector 45 ACP magazine?
The KRISS Vector .45 ACP uses Glock 21 magazines with a standard capacity of 13 rounds. Extended options include the MagEx2 kit, which produces a 25-round magazine, and a separate extension kit that brings capacity to 30 rounds.
What ammo is best for KRISS Vector 45?
Standard .45 ACP ammunition works reliably in the KRISS Vector. For defensive use, quality hollow points like Speer Gold Dot 230gr are recommended. KRISS explicitly does not recommend +P+ ammunition. +P loads are permitted but increase wear. Any reliable .45 ACP FMJ works well for range training.
What size barrel thread is a KRISS Vector 45 ACP?
KRISS Vector .45 ACP barrels use M16x1 left-hand thread pitch. This applies to both the 5.5-inch pistol and 16-inch rifle variants. OEM thread protectors and aftermarket suppressors designed for this specification will fit properly.
How much should a Kriss vector cost?
The KRISS Vector typically sells for around $1,303 new, with listings ranging from $1,250 to $1,980. The Vector SDP Gen 2 starts at an MSRP of $1,349.99. Variants include pistol (SDP) and rifle (CRB) models across multiple calibers and finishes.
