Frequently Asked Questions
Beretta APX A1 for sale
Is the Beretta APX A1 worth it?
Worth depends on your needs. The APX A1 offers reliable striker-fired performance in multiple sizes, typically around $399, with strong accuracy and concealability reviews. The APX A1 Carry is actually smaller than the Ruger EC9s, so compare it against similarly sized competitors like the Glock 43 to determine if the features justify the price.
What are the common problems with APX A1?
Reported issues include an excessively long and stiff trigger pull that makes accurate follow-up shots difficult, slide release challenges, and occasional feed failures. Some users also report extractor breakage and striker block contact problems. Beretta typically addresses defects through warranty service. Most issues improve with quality ammunition and practice.
How much is the Beretta 9mm APX A1?
Beretta APX A1 pistols typically cost around $399, with prices ranging from $270 to $555 depending on the variant and retailer. Models are available in compact, full-size, and microcompact configurations.
What's the best ammo for the APX A1 Carry?
For the APX A1 Carry, quality 9mm hollow points like Speer Gold Dot or Federal HST work well for defense. Use 115–124 grain loads. Avoid steel-cased ammo, which can worsen feed reliability. Test multiple brands, as individual pistols vary in what cycles consistently.
