The Q4 TAC pistol is a striker fired semi-automatic pistol with constant trigger pull. The Q4 TAC’s ergonomics and trigger system make it very easy to shoot accurately, and the pistol is simple to operate for left and right hand shooters: The slide release is ambidextrous and the thumb operated magazine release push button, conveniently located on the frame, is reversible for either left- or right-hand use. The open post sights of the Q4 TAC are designed for rapid aiming and target acquisition. The pistol has three different backstraps making it easier to configure to large or small hands. The Q4 TAC features a loaded chamber indicator, along with a trigger safety and automatic internal safeties. The frame is made from high-strength polymer and has a MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) accessory mounting rail for lights, lasers or other tactical devices.
