Kimber delivers a high performance and truly unique concealed carry option with the Covert Double Stack 9mm aka CDS9. As the name implies, the CDS9 features a double stack magazine and has magazine options of 10, 13, and 15 rounds – a serious improvement over single stack options of the same dimensions. Despite the double stack magazine, the CDS9 retains a compact size with a length of 6.2", a height of 5", and a width of 1.1". The overall profile of the CDS9 is essentially a smaller version of Kimber's KDS9C. This is evident in the grip’s palm swell and "frag pattern" checkering on the front and rear straps. Other features of the CDS9 is unique "fish scale" style serrations on the slide, a flat faced trigger with a vertical break point, and a optics ready slide. Additionally, the CDS9 is available with a threaded barrel.
