The Dan Wesson ECP Commander 1911 Semi-Auto Pistol is essentially a lightweight, commander-sized 1911. This ECP Commander's features include a rounded mainspring housing, Black and white G10 grips, a right-hand-only thumb safety, and a clean grip safety. The rear-only, angled cocking serrations and clean, 25 LPI (Lines Per Inch) front strap and mainspring housing checkering are simply beautiful. While many companies are big on brand-stamping slides, DW's are simply a plain work of art. DW simply places the model name small on the left side of the shooter. In this case, an elegantly-scribed "ECP" is all you see. The tactical rear sight features a racking ledge cut and the front sight features a brass-bead insert. Topped off with the forged stainless steel slide and aluminum frame, the ECP is lightweight, beautiful, and an absolute shooter. This commander-sized 1911 has a fantastic K-style trigger right out of the box. The ECP makes for an excellent, premier carry 1911.
