The Cadex R7 Lite Competition Rifle is designed specifically for competition shooters, meeting all the demands of the sport's most discerning competitors. The R7 action is lightning fast due to its precision machined 4 lug bolt and 50° bolt throw. The rifle is outfitted with a Bartlein 1.238" straight taper match grade barrel fluted for weight reduction and increased cool down. The rifle features a DX2 Evo two-stage trigger for increased precision. Depending on the action length, the R7 Lite Competition Rifle includes a 20 MOA (R7 Sheepdog) or 30 MOA (R7 Shepherd) optics rail mounted to the action.

The chassis of the Cadex R7 Lite Competition Rifle has been perfected for competition use while keeping the weight down! The Lite Competition Chassis is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billets, anodized, and then finished with a non-reflective paint.The forend of the rifle uses the M-Lok attachment system that allows for a more lightweight and streamlined rifle. The folding buttstock of the rifle is completely tool-free and allows the user to adjust the length of pull, cheek piece, and recoil pad height for an exact personalized fit. Additionally, the buttstock includes a small picatinny rail section for the mounting of a monopod. The chassis is designed to take most AICS pattern magazines available in the marketplace.
